Day Seven: Literally, I miss my mom

Today’s the day the Beatles tour was on. So I was happy that we had our morning to sleep in a bit, I was a bit hungover to start the day off but nonetheless, the day persisted on. Emma, Diego and I got some breakfast with Dara, Julia and Lexi.

Then we sat on the couch at the new hotel… not the Hallmark? I just remember David (tour COORDINATOR) saying that there wasn’t enough room in the other hotel or something? I don’t know.

Anyways,I thought the Beatles Tour was going to be the building that had the Beatles sign with a giant yellow submarine stamped onto the wall but no. This tour was a bus tour of all the places these four lads used to live and/or sit and write songs and/or meet.

I love the Beatles but wasn’t a huge fan of the tour itself. I feel like it would’ve been better to go to a museum or something but that’s just my opinion.

The Liverpoolian accent is really unique compared to the London accent. It was very fun to listen to our guide tell us about the Beatles’ home life and childhood.

We finished our three hour tour at four so we had the rest of the day to chill out or go out or eat or all three.

We all went out to dinner.

Honestly I’m more excited for the BBC tour.
