Day Six: Shakespeare is a figment of someone’s imagination, thank you next.

Breakfast was grand…. because it was air.

We packed all of our things and put it on a bus to go on a tour about Shakespeare and where he lived. Okay my disclaimer that these are just opinions just to be clear. Don’t come for me for thinking this way.

I loved the lady who did the tour (cannot remember her name im sorry) because she knew so much history that I honestly had no idea about. It was interesting some of the “facts” she stated about Shakespeare’s “life”.

But as we’re walking around and listening about all these roads and places Shakespeare apparently would’ve “known” about and “seen”

Okay first of all, this is me, an intellectual speaking, but I have some pretty hard-hitting questions about how they believe Shakespeare was a person when they couldn’t find his head. And the excuse was body snatchers? Who would look for people’s heads??

Okay sounds convenient enough right? But then she tells us that there’s a part of his life that is missing where he just suddenly goes off-grid for the better of seven years? And that he doesn’t have ONE signature that is the same???

So my conspiracy is Shakespeare was either a made up person by Francis Bacon or a whole lot of men who just came up with these grand plays who all conveniently signed Shakespeare’s name differently.

Anyways, we grabbed some mcdonalds which is new for me because I haven’t had mcdonalds in years but they have vegetarian options so I had to try it. no regrets, we’re in England. We also walked around, went into some shops and I really wish I would’ve had my camera with me this day but it is what it is.

So from there, we were off to Liverpool, we checked in to our hotel and then we had just enough time to set our stuff down, put on a new face and leave on foot for dinner. I felt bad for emma, I’m pretty sure this is the night for pork chops… she was not having it.
