Waking up in Stratford was way different than in London, in the big city there are people moving pretty much all the time. In Stratford there was nothing moving at 7 am.
I woke up early to run to the store and buy a jacket but nothing was opened till like 9. Before i went out to the store I was able to get some of that English breakfast I always heard of eggs, sausage, and ham. Then I ran to go get a jacket and re-joined the group in time to take the Shakespear tour.
The Shakespear tour was something different. Its amazing to see a country that pays so much attention to their personal and monarchy history but has somehow lost the history about one of the most popular playwrights in history. A lot of the tour we went on was a lot of he could have…, or its is believed…, or we think he… it was a ton of speculation.
Regardless it was an awesome tour to take through the town. Our tour guide started us out at the Royal Shakespeare Theater, down to the Trinity Church, and back across town to the Shakespeare House. It was cool to see the properties his family had owned and what living conditions might have been like around his home.
After walking through the home and watching some actors act out specific scenes of plays we had some free time to romp around the town before heading to Liverpool. The bus ride to Liverpool was exactly like a play.
Scene 1: Sleep and no noise
Intermission: Bathroom break at a gas station
Scene 2: Alexis brought out her speaker and a party broke out. Everyone woke up it seemed and we started singing and dancing around the bus and socializing with on another. it was so funny to see as the bus converted to a karaoke mobile. The vibes never seemed to dull down for the night.
