“Childish”

Its Windsor Castle day and I am PUMPED. Not only because were getting to visit a beautiful British Castle but also the Queen just happens to be there. Not saying we got to see her but like we were in the same vicinity so basically royalty now.

The Long Walk

I wish that half of the pictures I took could do the place justice but I just don’t think it is possible. The weather couldn’t have turned out more perfect too, blue skies with a few clouds and a nice breeze.

We got to walk through the States Apartments which were beautiful. Pictures weren’t allowed which was disappointing because all of the murals were stunning. I’ve taken multiple art history classes in the past but seeing some of these hand painted works of art is nothing compared to photos in a book.

*Side note Craig got called childish by a security guard because he tried to make a joke. Apparently the British have an odd sense of humor. Anyways we found a stray cat on the way out of the castle and decided we were going to claim that it is royalty.

Though we had a long morning exploring Windsor, the day wasn’t over quite yet. After having some free time to go get lunch and take a breather, we boarded the bus and headed off to Stratford.

We had group dinner at a place called “The Old Thatch Tavern.” I think I’m starting to realize that English food isn’t really my thing..they don’t salt/season anything. But then again maybe I’m just too used to over-seasoned American food. OH also we got to sing “Happy Birthday” to Anna at the restaurant. They brought her out a cute piece of cake and everything. It “twas very cute.

From the looks of it Stratford seems like the loveliest little English town. That being said I’m super excited to adventure around it tomorrow. We decided to end our night by playing music and putting on facemasks, because what better way to bond with your friends?
