Day Nine: Worst Airport Experience

So today’s the day of terrible traveling yes, just what I needed before we land in the beautiful land of Scotland.

Honestly I love airports most days, but today was not the day, especially for Lexi. The airport was pretty slow and then on top of that, security sent me for a loop with checking bags on bags on bags of things. I felt bad for Lexi because all of her stuff was in her duffle bag and it literally took the guy so long to go through everything because everything is a danger to society these days.

Anyways I grabbed some food because I was hungry and really need to nap on this plane… the nap was not long enough so I felt even more tires than on a good day on this trip.

But I digress, we land and we check into Grassmarket Hotel… possibly the favorite hotel out of all of the hotels we’ve stayed at so far on this trip.  We have just enough time to get to the hotel, put our stuff down and leave for Edinburgh’s castle.

They had some liquor tastings, honestly got some really good shots of Edinburgh and the castle. Today was such a nice day, my body was perspiring.

We then met with our tour guide to walk down and up the royal mile whilst he told us tales of Edinburgh and I learned that kilts come from Roman togas so that’s neat.

Once we were done, we landed in Daigon Alley at this place called the Red Art Gallery and they have some of the coolest art pieces I’ve seen. I’m going back tomorrow or thursday to grab some more things for friends and family. I literally have done such a bad job at collecting souvenirs but honestly, I’m too picky and my parents have everything.

Anyways, we then spent some time eating, wandering around the royal mile and back to the hotel. We had our group dinner at 7pm.
