Shake to the Speare.

The next day we had a walking Shakespeare Tour around the city where we, saw all the places Shakespeare lived his life, and the legacy he left behind.  We even stopped at the graveyard he and his family are buried at. I am going to be honest though; the more I hear about him the less I believe he did all he did.  There is so much time that nobody knows where he was or what he was doing.  There was just a lot of maybe’s or “he might have” during the tour.  It was another cool thing to be in these houses that were build hundreds of years ago.  For them to still be standing is amazing in itself.  We ended the tour in the house Shakespeare was born in, and then we were off for lunch.

Everyone stopped at a little pastry shop, but I found a McDonalds and went there with Naomi.  It was life changing.  They have so many better options at the McDonalds around here; my favorite is the wraps!  They had five separate kinds and they had vegan options which was cool.  You could do everything on this screen that you order and pay for your meal on, and then they just call out your order number when its ready.  They had little tablets you could play with on a few different tables.  I played a game of solitaire for a half hour with 299 moves. That’s quite bad, but I was having a good time.

I walked out, saw a PoundLand, and realized that was their version of the Dollar Store, so I had to go in.  It was the best dollar store I had ever been to.  I bought Sex and The City 2 double disk feature for ONE POUND!  I have been wanting to watch that one for so long and I just finished the series.  It was meant to be, but they had so many good snacks, movies, video games, and cd disks for a pound.  If I really lived here it would be a dangerous store for me.

At this point I really needed to get souvenir shopping, so I stopped by some little markets that were by the place we went to dinner last night, and picked up some cute things.  Then, met back up with the group to leave for Liverpool.  It was a two-hour bus ride in the middle of the day, with a stop in the middle.  So, everyone slept for the most part, while I glued on my one pound press on nails.  We stopped about half way through for a rest stop for 15 minutes.  By the time we all got back on the bus, we were ready to be up and hang out.  So, we whipped out some tunes, put on my green wig, and had a little music session.  It was so cute to see a lot of the bus get together, and sing our old favorite songs together.  It was a good moment.  I also still had McDonald’s, so that made the moment even better.

We finally arrived at Liverpool, and it was so beautiful outside.  It was kind of sad it was a travel day, but it was a long day, so it still felt like we were outside a good bit.  We checked in to our new hotel, and got ready to meet for dinner.  The walk to dinner felt like it took 5 hours, but it wasn’t that bad.  I’m just lazy.  We had Greek food which was something I never had before, so it was fun to try something new. It wasn’t my favorite, but it wasn’t bad.  I’m happy I had it lol.  We walked back to the hotel to freshen up, and walked around Liverpool for a good bit. I ended up cutting my night early because I was so exhausted I couldn’t think about my eyes being open for another moment.  As soon as I got to my room I was out cold.
