Windsor Castle – Fury Road

Today was a bittersweet day. I was off to a sad start because we, unfortunately, had to leave London to continue our journey throughout the rest of the United Kingdom. Don’t get me wrong, I am beyond excited to continue our travels, but I am so taken by this city and I don’t ever want to leave. I suppose it’s a good thing we only stayed for four days though, because one more day and I wasn’t coming back. I absolutely fell in love with London and I found a lot of inspiration there, so I have a feeling that I will be back soon enough.

We left London and set off on an hour and a half long bus ride to Windsor, where we would tour the castle, do some exploring, and eat some delicious food.

The castle was absolutely breathtaking. The castle itself was beautifully designed and built, but more than that, the landscaping was stunning. There was so much greenery and the flowers and trees were so lovely, pictures could never do it all justice.

After our time exploring, my friends and I got Nando’s. That was my second time there during this trip, and boy do I wish they had those in Pittsburgh.

After we ate, we met back with our group and headed to Stratford. We had a lovely dinner at a pub there, the food was delicious.

We spent a little more time celebrating Anna, and then we returned to our quarters to rest up for our day tomorrow. We have a walking tour of Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Stratford-Upon-Avon, and then we are off to Liverpool!
