My name is Craig Ketchum and I am floored to be traveling abroad for the first time. I have always believed that travel is a necessary part of life but I have not had the opportunity to go abroad before. Consider it a victory lap for finishing my bachelors degree. When I return from the UK I will be moving to Seattle, so I’m looking forward to all the new experiences ahead of me. The place I am most excited about visiting is Edinburgh; I believe being there will give me a chance to close the distance I feel with my Scottish heritage.
As someone who has studied theatre for most of my life I am stoked to finally visit London, where so much history has occurred. Another historical site I am thrilled to have the chance to see is the Churchill War Rooms. My father is a history teacher so famous war sites such as this have always peaked my interest, and the command center for the most well known war in history seems a fitting place to get my fix of history.
