We left London this morning and headed out to Windsor Castle. We had a very knowledgeable tour guide that took us around the town before we headed onto the castle grounds.
The grounds themselves were gorgeous and it was a really nice day for walking around.
No pictures we’re allowed inside the castle or St. George’s Chapel. As part of the entry admission, we received audio guides for the grounds. So once we left our tour guide, we still learned a bit about everything.
I had forgotten about the extent of fire that happened to Windsor Castle in the 1990s and they had some amazing before and after pictures.
We had lunch at the Duchess of Cambridge pub. Definite good food.
After some free time, we then boarded our bus and headed to Stratford for the evening.
Tonight was a group dinner. Stratford is such a nice little town and it was nice to have a short walk to dinner!
