Our day in Liverpool started with a Beatles tour. It was such a nice day to spend walking around the city. We traveled deep into Liverpool and visited the houses of Ringo Starr, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, and John Lennon. We stopped a few more iconic places, Penny Lane, Strawberry Feild, a cemetery where Eleanor Rigby is buried and where John Lennon sang in a choir at the church nearby. We also got to see where John Lennon and Paul McCartney met. A lot of history for this iconic group.
I’m not really a huge Beatles fan, but exploring the city was a good time. From there we went back and got dinner, I took a nap, did some work, then went out on the town with a group of people. We all had a great night and were off to Manchester the next day!
