There is Rest for the Wicked

I have been waiting for this day all week.  It was the free day!  I decided what my body truly needed was rest, so I let myself sleep in for a little bit (only until 11).  Threw a cute outfit on and put some shades on.  I stopped for some toast down at the hotel breakfast before I started my adventure.

I walked around because I did feel like I was going to regret not going with the group to go up the volcano.  I just did not want to walk all the way up there truly.  I got to have some much-needed alone time.  I went back up by the castle to take the view in again, I walked by all the little shops on the Royal Mile, I went through the streets little allies because a lot of them were redone for a theme, and created a gorgeous view.  I love it.  I really mean it I love it here.

After my adventuring, I went to a bistro to grab some lunch, a glass of wine, and read a book.  I also tried working on some of my projects, and then Naomi came and met me.  She got some food, and then we headed back to the hotel to get ready for our final meeting, dinner, and the ghost tour.

We walked to where we had the Fringe Festival meeting and recapped what we really got out of this trip and focused on this second part.  It was cute to look around the room, and see we all made connections with each other.  Then, we had a group dinner at Howie’s, which was so close to our hotel.  It was so good I had the Gnocci.

We had a free moment after dinner, but we had to meet up very shortly after to go on the ghost tour.  That was fun! I wish I got to actually see a ghost, but going into the underground tunnels, and hearing ghost stories was spooky ooky, so it was worth it.  I was zonked once again, and could not wait to get back home tomorrow, so I went right to bed.  I don’t think my body has ever been this exhausted.
