We got an early start to the morning today with a walking tour of Stratford and some key places related to William Shakespeare. I love Stratford and would move here within a heartbeat. It is exactly what you picture a little stereotypical old English town to be.
I’m not a huge Shakespeare person but obviously it was interesting getting to see the places he grew up and frequented. We even got to visit this awesome graveyard where he’s buried. I’m a HUGE fan of cemeteries so I appreciated this a lot. Theres beauty in pretty much everything over here, anywhere you turn your head you catch a glimpse of something new to admire.
We had some remaining free time to adventure around Stratford, which we did. They had a bunch of cute shops and even an area of tents set up to make a small little market. A few of us decided we would make our way to a park and enjoy the nice day walking around.
This was our last afternoon in Stratford though, the bus came and picked us up around 3 and thus we were off to Liverpool. What better way to make the few hour bus ride than a little bit of classroom karaoke. Safe to say that our friendships only became stronger by singing a long to old 2000s pop hits.
I didn’t really have any expectations for Liverpool because I honestly didn’t know much about it. That changed quickly though when we saw the view from our hotel room. Only one word could describe it: incredible.
We ate group dinner together at a greek restaurant that served big family style meals. It wasn’t but food but the service did take a very long time. Besides that it was an overall A+ day.
