I Heart Hearst

Another rainy morning in London…shocker…That didn’t stop us from walking to our next media visit though. Luckily we stayed as dry as we possibly could.

Hearst UK…someday I hope to be working for you. The whole day we spent learning about all the various jobs that Hearst has to offer. I think my favorite part was the presentation done by Sophie and ____ from Elle and Cosmo. Working for a magazine as a photographer is my main career plan, so hearing about all the work they do to make these photoshoots happened was very helpful.

Their offices seemed a little crammed for my own liking but besides that all of the employees treated us well. The young lady Lizzi who gave us our tour and planned the event was someone I could see myself getting along great with. The hospitality of all of our media visits has been incredible so far. They not only give us snacks, fruits, drinks, but plenty of their time to lecture and answer questions.

*Kind of disappointed that when we visited the Good Housekeeping kitchen part of the tour they didn’t have samples for us. But that’s okay cause half of us were full from the many croissants anyways.*

Dinner was spent eating pasta and drinking wine at a resturant called Zizzi. We were so full after that we decided to head back to the hotel and hangout together in one of our rooms. Lexi brought out her green wig and the rest of the night was history..
