Beatle Mania

I will admit I am not a Beatle’s fan. I knew that some days on the trip would not be as fun as others, and for me that was today. However, I do respect The Beatle’s and their influence on the world. As a One Direction fan, there were always comparisons to The Beatles and the hysteria they had on teenage girls. Even when The Beatles went solo they still impacted the world tremendously.

The first part of the tour when we would stop at the first two houses and the Barber shop did not appeal to me. I found it kinda annoying to keep getting on and off the bus for less than five minutes. I understand certain parts of the town were references for songs, but I believe we could have just stopped without getting off the bus. I was also disappointed that Strawberry fields was under construction and that there wasn’t a lot to see through the red gate. I barely knew any information about The Beatles other than Strawberry fields because I did a carriage tour in New York City where I was informed about Lennon and Yoko’s apartment.

Towards the end of the tour, I started to get more into The Beatles. I found the graveyard to be quite interesting. I was actually interesting into the information that he was saying on how referenced different people buried there. John Lennon and Paul McCartney’s houses were also well kept together which was nice to see. My favorite part of the tour was definitely The Cavern.

The Cavern is where The Beatles performed for the first time. It is located in this small alley filled with other pubs and the energy surrounded it is electric. There was also football games going on so that might have helped. I love concerts and small venues and going down into the Cavern steps reminded me of my love for music. They also turned the place into half a museum. The Cavern was pretty small with it’s low ceilings, but the area was big excitement.
