Stratford-Upon-Avon: At World’s End

After some much-needed shut-eye, I was ready for the day ahead of us. After breakfast, we departed on our walking tour around Stratford-Upon-Avon, also known as the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Shakespeare is widely regarded as one of the best writers in the English writers, for his world famous poems and plays.

Stratford is a quaint little town, it was a very nice place to explore. We got to see the buildings where Shakespeare supposedly spent time in, but there actually aren’t many records that prove his existence, so we can’t really be certain that he was really ever there. The short list of records of his existence includes a baptism certificate, a death certificate, and a mere five documents that he is believed to have signed, each in different handwriting with different spellings. Was Shakespeare even real? You tell me.

After our tour we had lunch and then went on our merry way to Liverpool. After we unpacked, we had dinner at a delicious authentic Greek restaurant. The amount of food they served us was honestly bigger than my future! A while after dinner, a group of us got together and went out for a night on the town to celebrate Anna some more. Let me just say, it was a night I’ll never forget.

I look forward to seeing more of Liverpool tomorrow, and I’m so looking forward to going on our Beatles tour!
