Starting to get a hang of this whole London thing. Everyone here is honestly a lot nicer than you could ever imagine, especially the people hosting our media visits. We started the morning heading off to Battenhall, which was definitely a highlight of the day.
Their offices were exactly what I was expecting for a PR agency. It felt very homey and comfortable to me. Their walls were lined with plants and big open windows. We got to talk/hear from several members of the staff, which was a great opportunity. Though they are a PR agency, they specialize in social media, so most of us could relate to considering we are a generation of technology.
After taking an hour to rest up and eat lunch, we headed to Burson, Cohn & Wolf agency (it was a long media morning). They kept us awake though with the most ridiculous advertising activity (ridiculous in a good way). Safe to say if any of us needed to sell butter on a whim we could easily accomplish it.
The rest of the night we spent adventuring around “Soho,” a cute little neighborhood-type area with plenty of restaurants and entertainment. We finally decided upon a latin bar called “Barrio,” where a couple of us got some drinks and socialized.
