Hello world.
Here is a little about me: my name is Julia Cavataio, I’m an Ad/PR major, with a photography minor at Point Park University. I enjoy traveling and have been abroad before, so this is a bit about my past travels.
In the Spring of 2017, I decided I was going to drop all of my things and move to Italy for five months in order to continue my education. Without knowing anyone, or really any of the language, I hopped on a plane and began my journey at the American University of Rome. While over there I was able to travel to several countries, all while attending school and still visiting popular places around Italy (Venice, Naples, Florence, etc).
A few of the places I got to travel to include: Amsterdam, Bosnia, Croatia, Germany, France, Prague, and Spain. It didn’t take long before I got the travel bug. After returning back to Pittsburgh in May of 2017, I knew that I needed to make my way back to Europe sooner rather than later.
When I heard that Point Park offered a class that takes students abroad, I didn’t hesitate to sign up. I was especially interested when I learned that the trip was heading to the U.K. Having never been to England or Scotland, there was no question about it…I would be making this trip.
